Tint works because people show up real and treat each other well. Here’s what we expect.
Who Tint is for
Tint is a dating app for gay, bi, and queer men aged 18 and over. You must be at least 18 to create an account or use any part of the app. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed immediately and permanently.
Keep it safe-for-community — no nudity
Tint has a strict no-nudity policy. Do not upload, send, or request sexually explicit images, nudity, or pornographic content anywhere on the app — including your profile photos, prompts, and chats. Profile photos must clearly show you, fully clothed. This keeps Tint welcoming and App Store compliant. Violations lead to content removal and can get you banned.
Be real, be you
Use recent photos of yourself, your real age, and honest information. Impersonation, catfishing, and fake profiles are not allowed. Get the blue tick by verifying your profile.
Treat people with respect
No harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, bullying, or discrimination of any kind — including based on race, body, HIV status, gender identity, or expression. A “no” is a complete sentence. Unsolicited explicit messages are never okay.
Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for content involving minors, non-consensual content, sexual exploitation, violence, illegal activity, solicitation, or spam and scams. This results in an immediate, permanent ban and, where required, a report to law enforcement.
Report and block
If something feels wrong, use Report or Block — both are on every profile and in every chat. Reports are confidential and our team reviews them, typically within 24 hours. Blocking someone removes you from each other completely.
Your safety
Get to know someone in chat before meeting. Meet in public the first few times and tell a friend where you’ll be. Never send money or financial details. Trust your instincts.
